Formerly Xbox 360 exclusive content, both of the downloadable episodes for Grand Theft Auto IV will head to the PlayStation 3 and PC on March 30.

The PC version - facilitated through Games for Windows Live - will allow up to 32 players in multiplayer.

Reportedly, Microsoft paid big money (to the tune of US$50 million) for so-called exclusive content prior to the release of Grand Theft Auto IV. In any case, it turns out that the deal was merely timed exclusivity, and PS3 and PC gamers will soon be able to either buy a retail disc copy of both episodes or download them individually. However, as is the case with the Xbox 360 versions, the individual episodes will require a full version of Grand Theft Auto IV.

The retail disc version of Episodes from Liberty City will cost US$39.99 (approximately NZ$57). It's unknown at this stage how much the individual episodes - The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony - will cost.
