Half-Life 2 fan film to premiere at festival

A group of independent filmmakers and Half-Life enthusiasts has completed a short film entitled Beyond Black Mesa in their spare time and with only a US$1200 budget. The short film will premiere at the Action on Film International Film Festival in Pasadena, California on July 26th.

The filmmakers have released a trailer introducing the protagonist Adrian Shephard (also the protagonist from the Half-Life expansion Opposing Force) and showcasing the Combine, the enemy force from the games. You can watch a short trailer below.
