iOS 4.2 may have only just been released to the masses but it looks like Apple’s got another update incoming, which will include a special subs app for Rupert Murdoch's iPad newspaper, The Daily.

Unconfirmed reports (which Apple has already labelled rumour and speculation) suggest that iOS4.3 will be released in mid-December.

The biggest feature will apparently be an application subscription service.

According to the same report Apple boss Steve Jobs is due to make a joint announcement with News Corp chief Rupert Murdoch on December 9th about the digital newspaper and software update.

Earlier this week Murdoch was reported to have sunk US$30 million into the digital project.

Apple released the long-awaited iOS 4.2 update on November 23rd.
