iOS App Review: Framatic

I live for the day Instagram or Facebook has a feature where you can combine multiple photos into one frame to share online. But until they do, a separate app must be used and Framatic is up there with the best.

Framatic is easy to use and offers a variety of frames to show off your favourite photos and instantly share them. You can create unique frames and collages using a theme and frame layout.

Select the frame you want to use, select the required amount of images, pinch to zoom and swipe to get the perfect composition. You can apply a huge range of photo effects to each individual photo (not just the entire frame like other apps), and adjust the size of the frame to get the perfect look. Share on Instagram, Twitter, Flikr or Facebook and you’re done!

There are some cool features to the app – shake your phone and randomly generate a framed picture.

There are 36 adjustable layouts, 32 vintage Instagram alike borders, 92 amazing fffects to apply to individual photos and 40 background patterns. You can make rounded corners on your images, change the border width, create shadows and, if you upgrade to the Pro version, you can create a customized watermark and copyright.

Considering the app is free, Framatic has heaps of features and options to play with. It’s a really easy way to share a number of photos together instead of one at a time. The only flaw with the free version if the Framatic watermark that will appear on every single one of your creations. But hey, just upgrade if it bothers you.

Compatibility: Requires iOS 6.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
