FYI, this story is more than a year old

As another year comes to an end and we all get ready to eat, drink and be merry, we take a look back at 2015 in all its glory.

As we shut down for the holidays we wanted to say a big thank you to all our TechDay readers. 2015 was a big year with a Kiwi sex scandal, Netflix and Windows 10 finally dropping on our shores, and controversy over TPP, Uber and Google.

Here's a look back on some of our favourite stories of the year:

Apple made some big announcements, with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus being released, a new version of Apple TV, iOS9 and updates to the Apple Watch.

Kiwis went a bit pervy this year after scandalous footage of two office workers going at it was released via social media.

Following a big marketing push and a lot of hype, Windows 10 officially dropped in New Zealand.

We reviewed the iPad Pro, and it's the only review you'll ever have to read.

We argued that Microsoft should consider killing off Windows altogether, with desktop PCs and laptops being replaced by new devices like tablets and hybrids.

The tech industry weighed in on the debates and controversy surrounding the TPPA.

In a digital world consumers are increasingly powerful – we looked at what this means for content creation.

We took a closer look at Uber amid all its controversy.

Netflix finally came to Kiwi TV screens.

Kiwi businesses looked to suffer following Google's Mobile-friendly label to search results.

Samsung ripped off the iPhone.

And we all went rainbow in support of marriage equality.
