Logitech G unveils POWERPLAY 2 wireless charging mouse pad
Logitech G has introduced the POWERPLAY 2, a wireless charging mouse pad designed for continuous gaming without interruptions.
The POWERPLAY 2 aims to provide gamers with a seamless experience by eliminating the concerns of battery life, ensuring the mouse remains charged both in motion and at rest. The system is described as plat-and-play, enhancing user convenience with its wireless charging capabilities.
The new mouse pad is now thinner, measuring 3.5mm, which is said to improve comfort during gameplay. It features a 15% larger charging area than its predecessors, which may lead to better charging performance. Logitech G incorporates a low-frequency electromagnetic field with a POWERPLAY 2 Charging Coin, facilitating continuous charging without disruption to the mouse's performance.
The system's compatibility with Logitech G's LIGHTSPEED wireless technology allows gamers to continuously charge their mouse while gaming. Once the POWERPLAY 2 charging system is connected, users insert the Charging Coin into the mouse and commence charging immediately, offering a straightforward setup.
"Say goodbye to tethering and enjoy the freedom of gaming without cable drag," a representative stated, highlighting the product's advantage of cable-free gaming.
In terms of adaptability, gamers have the option to swap the Charging Coin between different mice to suit personal preferences. POWERPLAY 2 is now compatible with ten Logitech G mice, providing gamers with multiple options for battery-free gaming.
