Mass Effect 2 tops industry 'most anticipated' list

BioWare’s upcoming sci-fi role-playing game Mass Effect 2 has been voted the Most Anticipated game of 2010 in the annual GamesIndustry.biz Network Survey.

The top 10 games in the Most Anticipated in 2010 category are as follows:•    1. Mass Effect 2: 11.1% •    2. God of War III: 8.9% •    3. BioShock 2: 7.3% •    4. Final Fantasy XIII: 5.7% •    5. Starcraft 2: 4.8% •    6. Halo: Reach: 4.1% •    7. Star Wars: The Old Republic: 3.7% •    8. Heavy Rain: 3.5% •    9. Alan Wake: 3.2% •    10. Red Dead Redemption: 2.5%

Comprising of the opinions of industry-only members, the annual survey quizzed participants for their picks in a wide variety of categories. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was voted the Best Game of 2009 by 12.5% of participants, followed by Batman: Arkham Asylum at 11.6% and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at 9.8%.
