Microsoft announces official US RRP for Kinect
Microsoft has detailed both the recommended retail price (RRP) and software bundle for the upcoming motion-control accessory for Xbox 360, Kinect.
The device will cost US$150 when it launches in November and will come bundled with Kinect Adventures. It's also been revealed that Kinect software will retail for US$50 per game.
The US$150 price tag is exactly the same as the "place holder" RRP that has popped up on various retail sites over the weeks since Kinect's official unveiling at E3 in June.
A direct conversion at the current exchange rate prices Kinect locally at approximately NZ$210 and at $70 per game, although this will not necessarily reflect the actual NZ RRP. Stay tuned to Game Console where we'll let you know the local RRP as soon as it's available.
