New Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Expansion
Thu, 1st Mar 2007
FYI, this story is more than a year old

One of the biggest RPG PC titles to date, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion now has a brand new expansion set to release in late March, 2007. Featuring 30 hours of new and extended game play with access to a whole   new plane of Oblivion – the realm of Sheogorath, gamers will be able to continue playing with their existing  characters or create entirely new characters from scratch.

Sheogorath is not called the mad god for nothing - in TES III: Morrowind the capricious deity sent you hunting  a giant beastie armed with a rusty eating implement, and in TES IV: Oblivion he had you wreaking havoc on  some poor, backwater village hicks. This time, however, Sheogorath needs a champion to defend his realm  from destruction.

The Shivering Isles features a bizarre landscape split between the two sides - Mania and Dementia, filled with  vast, twisting dungeons mirroring the roots of the trees they are buried within.

You will encounter a dozen new creatures including hideous insects, Flesh Atronachs, skeletal Shambles and  amphibious Grummites. With all new items to discover and more spells to learn and utilise, this expansion will give  gamers a whole new look at a very different and exciting facet of the Oblivion franchise.
