New Zealand currency finally coming to Steam

20 Mar 15

New Zealand gamers usually have to see the USA currency on Steam. This is about to change next week

From March 24th, Steam will be adding the New Zealand currency to the store for the very first time. This means you can actually see what you are paying for when browsing Steam.

Usually New Zealand gamers would have only seen the USD on Steam. Now the Kiwi dollar will be used. People are hoping this doesn't mean games will be priced at a higher rate.

We will just have to find out from March 24th if Steam prices in New Zealand stay level with what USA gamers pay.
