Next Splinter Cell already confirmed
Ubisoft Toronto is already working on the next iteration of the Splinter Cell series, with former Assassin’s Creed producer Jade Raymond at the helm.
The sequel is said to build from the new framework set by the recent blockbuster Splinter Cell: Conviction, with some of the talent from that game’s developer, Ubisoft Montreal, on board to help out. "All of the core team has relocated with me from Montreal," said Raymond to gaming industry site Gamasutra.
Other than the aforementioned, details are decidedly scarce, with a title and rough release period yet to be revealed. The rather quick turnaround of this announcement has Game Console wondering whether Ubisoft has decided to revive the “homeless Sam” build of Splinter Cell: Conviction teased back in 2007.
Just kidding.
