Nintendo reveals Wii U price drop

Nintendo has revealed the Wii U Deluxe system will be available for US$50 less ($299.99) from September 20.

Reports from Nintendo Everything state that on top of that the company has confirmed Zelda: Wind Walker HD available as a Wii U bundle.

The bundle will also launch on September 20 and contain a black Deluxe Wii U console, a gamepad with gold lettering, a Hyrule crest and gold symbols that are visible throughout the game, a download code for various artwork from the Zelda series and a code to download Zelda: Wind Walker HD direct from the eshop immediately at no extra charge.

Zelda: Wind Walker HD will be available to all Wii U owners as a digital download on 20 September.

The retail version will be available from October 4 and come with gold foil packaging. Both versions are currently priced at $49.99.
