FYI, this story is more than a year old

After almost three months, Facebook is finally rolling out its latest feature, Timeline, with New Zealand first in line to access the update.

According to an update on the Facebook blog, over a million people have already accessed Timeline in beta since it was revealed in September.

"The feedback Facebook's received so far has been invaluable," the update says.

"Starting today, we are making Timeline more widely available as we measure speed and other types of performance. We'll begin by making it available to people in New Zealand and then roll it out more broadly in the near future.

Timeline was first announced at Facebook's f8 developer conference in September, but its public release has been delayed.
