The PS4 Pro console has now launched in New Zealand

Today it's November 10th and this means that Sony's new PS4 Pro console is out at participating retailers nationwide. 

The PS4 Pro is an upgraded version of the existing console. It can stream 4K videos via both Netflix and YouTube, plus upscales your favourite video games to 4K too. HDR is also supported to bring more colour range to both games and movies. 

It also comes with a bigger 1TB hard drive and an updated DUALSHOCK 4 controller. Many PS4 games have been updated today to take advantage of the new hardware. Games such as Uncharted 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider will look better than ever before. 

“Michael Ephraim, Managing Director Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia and New Zealand commented: “We are very excited to launch the new supercharged PlayStation 4 Pro which is in step with consumer demand for heightened gaming and entertainment experiences.”

The PS4 Pro is available at retailers such as JB Hi Fi, Mighty Ape, EB Games and more, It has a suggested retail price of NZD $639.95.
