Registrations are now open in Australia and New Zealand for a CS:GO Tournament

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is one of the most popular online video games of all time and now you can participate in a tournament for it. Registrations are now open to gamers living in the countries of Australia and New Zealand.

Lets Play Live (LPL) announced via a press release that it is looking for three teams in Australia and New Zealand to take part in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Alpha Invitational tournament.

Registrations are available now and you can sign up to the tournament by clicking here. The qualifying rounds start on February 10th, 2018 so you will have to sign up very soon.

If you are good enough, you may want to practice because Order, Grayhound and Tainted are three already confirmed professional teams participating in the series.

The Alpha Invitational tournament will take place over a course of seven weeks while the six teams compete for Counter Strike supremacy. Teams must be available to play on Thursday nights at 8:00pm NZT for seven weeks following February 15th, 2018.

The overall prize pool for this CS: GO tournament is $10,000. The winning team gets $5000, second place nets $3000 while the third team gets the remaining $2000. For more additional information about this tournament, you can click here to visit the official LPL website.
