Renaissance secures All of Government deal

Thu, 12th Apr 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

IT distribution company Renaissance has been confirmed as one of three Apple suppliers under the Ministry of Economic Development's All-of-Government procurement scheme.

It's a big win for the company, which will supply hardware, services and support for Apple's whole product range to all eligible government departments, including councils and schools.

The contract will be handled through Renaissance's Yoobee retail division.

Steve McLean, Yoobee general manager, says in a statement that Yoobee will be able to handle everything from large scale deployments to one-off purchases.

"We can offer AoG participants the best of both worlds," McLean says.

Gen-i and Cyclone Computers are also All-of-Government Apple suppliers.

Update: After months trading between 10  and 15 cents, Renaissance shares have shot up following the announcement of its All of Government deal, and are currently trading just below 20 cents.
