Review: Asus VK222U LCD 22IN
Pros: ASUS’s 22-inch display couldn’t be more different to its 16-inch entry. The VK22U had excellent screen geometry, even after only basic calibration, and colour reproduction was likewise very good. The ability to quickly switch ‘modes’ TV-style makes it suitable for multiple usage scenarios.
Cons: The base is a little weak and fiddly to initially install. We did notice some very slight colour aberrations under some profiles, with slightly weaker intensity green than would be optimal.
Verdict: A decent monitor, but nothing truly extraordinary.
