FYI, this story is more than a year old

Kotaku reports that the release of DC Universe has been delayed until early 2011 so that Sony Online Entertainment can "address community feedback in a meaningful way".

The game, exclusive to PlayStation 3 and PC, was originally scheduled to release on November 2nd. It seems, however, that a number of issues in the recent beta became apparent. An exact date has not been specified, but it's understood that it will be sometime during Q1 of 2011. Kotaku points out that, in order to fulfill its claim to being the first MMO for the PlayStation 3, it will need to release before the launch of Final Fantasy XIV in March.

It's but the latest in a string of Sony titles originally scheduled with pre-Christmas release dates that have now been pushed back until next year. Other such titles include S.O.C.O.M. 4 and LittleBigPlanet2.
