Stocking-stuffers from Nintendo
Nintendo have announced three of their Christmas releases, with a few stocking-stuffers for Wii and Nintendo DS.
November 17 will mark the release of Go Vacation for Wii, a collection of 50 mini-games set on the vast tropical island of Kawawii. Gamers can unlock activities including quad biking, minigolf, fencing and ice fishing.
As for the Nintendo DS, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter will hit stores on November 24. This fantasy-action RPG has been popular in Japan since its release one-year ago, and will now be available worldwide.
Solatorobo puts players in control of a 17-year-old dog named Red Savarin, who with the help of his robot Dahak must save the world from destruction.
And for those who like head-scratchers, the next installment of the hugely popular Professor Layton series will be available for Nintendo DS from December 1.
Professor Layton and the Last Specter is the fourth chapter in the series, and the first in a planned trilogy of prequels to the original games. Also included with the game is a bonus RPG entitled Professor Layton’s London Life, adding an additional 100 hours of gameplay.
The prices for these games in New Zealand are yet to be confirmed.
