Gaming site Gamespot revealed the game in a first-look announcement , including in-game images of the new characters and some video footage of the game in action.

Only three of the eight new characters have been revealed so far: T. Hawk and Dee Jay from Super Street Fighter II and a new character, Juri.

Reportedly, the gameplay tweaks include some minor balancing for each of the existing characters, an improved online experience. Although the game will be a standalone release, it is understood that the game will retail for a reduced price.

Capcom has also stated that those who own both Super Street Fighter IV and the original title will receive an additional and as yet unspecified bonus.
