TVNZ and TelstraClear have joined forces so that TV One and TV2 HD channels can be delivered to TelstraClear customers on its cable network in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch.

The T-Box will offer TV One and TV2 HD channels free for all TelstraClear customers who choose TelstraClear's dual or triple play service with the T-Box option.   TelstraClear says it has 43,000 TV customers who receive this service via its advanced cable network.   Steve Jackson, TelstraClear Head of Consumer, said, “TelstraClear is very pleased to be able to deliver TVNZ’s high value portfolio of programmes on TV One and TV2 in HD to our Triple Play customers.” TVNZ’s Head of Digital Media and Digital Channels Eric Kearley, added, “TelstraClear’s advanced cable network is available to people in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch and now they can opt to receive TV One and TV2 in high definition. The agreement recognises the popularity of TVNZ’s two major channels and the company’s commitment to making the content as accessible as possible.”
