Tumblr releases official iPad App

Tumblr have finally released an official iPad app, following an unusual delay in using the iOS device.

Coming with everything you would expect such as Markdown support to animated GIFs, as reported by Cult of Mac, the app is built on native code.

Allowing users to browse feeds, different tags and use their own accounts, the app is now live in the App Store free of charge.
