Ubertec celebrates 22nd birthday with charity auction
Fri, 2nd Sep 2016
FYI, this story is more than a year old

A family based company, Ubertec has officially been in the business for 22 years.

Over that time, the business has strived to maintain long term clients by conducting itself with integrity, and providing efficient and effective customer services.

Ubertec aims to help home users, creative professionals and small businesses to find and implement solutions that fit their specific needs and budgets.

The business has a physical retail store in Parnell, with a range of Apple products and accessories.

Focusing solely on Apple technologies, Ubertec provides warranty and out of warranty hardware repairs for both Mac and iOS devices, as well as software troubleshooting, automation and support.

To celebrate their 22nd birthday, Ubertec has decided to fill an old cinema display with 6KG of M-Ms and auction it off on Trade Me for charity.

They've partnered with KidsCan and 100% of the proceeds will go to the charity to help Kiwi kids that are less fortunate than others. The money goes toward education and aims to give them the best chance of reaching their potential in life.

The auction sits at a $1 reserve and will be sold as is. Pickup is from the Ubertec store in Parnell, an authorised Apple reseller.

KidsCan is also having their fourth KidsCan National Mufti Day on Friday 2nd September 2016. Last year over 162 schools and various businesses joined together to raise nearly $60,000 enabling KidsCan to help support even more Kiwi kids in need.
