Video nasty: Dead Space 2 launch trailer

There was a time when publishers were too scared to release good games in January, choosing to wait for the Christmas rush instead, but not anymore.

Aside from Sony's LittleBigPlanet 2 and a few others floating around, Dead Space 2 should be on the top of everyone's shopping list right now, as long as you're old enough to realise it's just a game.

Isaac Clarke returns for more Event Horizon-inspired terror after waking from a coma on a massive space city known as The Sprawl. Anyone who's played the PS3 or Xbox 360 demo knows what to expect.

You've until the game launches on January 28th to decide what games to trade in if you're still suffering from the Christmas pinch.
