FYI, this story is more than a year old

Apple dropped word into its recent iPhone 4 conference (the one about the signal problems) that iPhone 4 would launch in New Zealand on July 30th.

When asked for confirmation earlier in the week, Vodafone's lips were sealed.

Telecommunications Review has now confirmed that July 30th date with carrier Vodafone, though there's still no information on plans available.

"July 30th is the date Apple's giving out so that's the date we're working to," said a Vodafone rep.

No further details were given.
