Google earnings expected to rise

Google is expected to report rising profits and revenue when releasing their third-quarter results later today.

Experts believe the internet search engine will report per-share earning up 9.6% on sales up 58%, with Wall Street expecting a revenue rise of US$11.86 billion, up from $7.51 billion in the year-earlier quarter.

The company will hold its quarterly conference call to discuss third quarter 2012 financial results this morning at 9:30am NZ Time.
