Apple distributors Renaissance are to open a new Yoobee showroom on Kent Terrace in Wellington before the end of the year, modelled on the store in Auckland's Britomart.

The current Yoobee store, located in nearby Vivian Street, will be closed, according to a report in the Dominion Post.

Yoobee also has a store at the Victoria University campus.

The Yoobee brand targets Apple products at designers, musicians and other creatives. People are encouraged to join the Yoobee community, which includes ambassadors such as footwear designer Kathryn Wilson and musician Peter Urlich.
