Steve Jobs attends Obama's tech dinner - Updated
Mon, 21st Feb 2011
FYI, this story is more than a year old

The US tech get-together was held with the aim of discussing technological innovation and how it could possibly boost the US economy.

Other big names in attendance from the world of tech included Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt, Oracle CEO Larry Ellison.

Jobs was not seen by White House reporters but a White House official confirmed that all those on the guest list were present, reports Reuters.

Only two pictures were released from the event.

One showed Zuckerberg talking with Obama while the other shot the evening's guests as they all sat round the dinner table. The back of Jobs can be seen on Obama's left.

Only a day before the dinner US tabloid The National Enquirer published images of Jobs, saying the Apple boss may have just six weeks to live.

Update: What's claimed to be a new photo of Jobs looking in good spirits is doing the rounds online.

Also the Mail Online has posted new images of Jobs that seem to from The National Enquirer.
