Steve Jobs biography presses on
Just because so little has been said of it, you may not even be aware that there’s an official biography – with actual input from Steve Jobs himself – currently in the works.
But word is that over the past 12 months writer Walter Isaacson "has been busy interviewing well over 100 people in the Apple CEO’s past and present, both inside and outside the company,” reports All Things Digital.
That’s said to include current execs at Apple, as well as Jobs’ friends and colleagues, such as Oracle’s Larry Ellison.
Isaacson’s Wiki page says he began his career in journalism at The Sunday Times of London and then the New Orleans Times-Picayune/States-Item. He joined TIME in 1978 and served as a political correspondent, national editor, and editor of new media before becoming the magazine's fourteenth editor in 1996.
He became Chairman and CEO of CNN in 2001, and then president and CEO of the Aspen Institute in 2003.
There’s still no word on a potential release date though.
