Hong Kong Broadband Network (HKBN) has released a new series of colourful home gateway routers based on the popular Marvel series, as well as Toy Story.
From eleven original prototypes, the public voted for four of the best designs as part of the “Home Gateway Vote and Win” competition.
The designs include a Marvel Super Heroes Home Gateway with COSBABY, an Iron Man Home Gateway with Bluetooth speaker, a Spider-Man Home Gateway with COSBABY, and a Toy Story Home Gateway with Forky Doll.
Now, HKBN customers can get their hands on one of the winning designs by subscribing to designated home broadband service plans online.
"An enthusiastic response to the voting campaign reflects the popularity of our Marvel and Toy Story Home Gateway designs,” says HKBN co-owner and residential solutions chief marketing officer Elinor Shiu.
“Through this collaboration with Disney, we're launching four stylish all-in-one devices that pack a powerful punch with 1Gbps or 2Gbps broadband and features like network security for easy protection against hacking, malicious sites and other cyber threats, and parental controls to manage children's online activity.''
Thanks to HKBN's collaboration with cybersecurity provider Trend Micro, Home Gateway delivers a new paradigm in protection for all devices connected to the home network via HKBN HomeGuard - Network Security and HKBN HomeGuard - Parental Control, a feature designed to help parents flexibly manage and monitor a child's online activities.

The MARVEL Super Heroes Home Gateway with COSBABY and the Toy Story Home Gateway with Forky Doll are available now.
The Marvel Spider-Man Home Gateway with COSBABY and the Marvel Iron Man Home Gateway with Bluetooth Speaker will be available in mid-November.
1Gbps/2Gbps MARVEL and Toy Story Home Gateway Home Broadband Plans start at HK$190/month and HK$222/month respectively after discounts and waivers. Lock-in the choice while stocks last.
