FYI, this story is more than a year old

Samsung will release a limited edition model of its recently released Galaxy Tab this week in Europe.

Specs of the Luxury Edition are said to be almost identical to those of the original, but being the luxury version, you'll also get a special leather case and a Bluetooth headset, you lucky things.

The Luxury Edition will be available from December 15th to January 31st and it comes with a price tag of around $1000, which begs the question – iPad (which is cheaper) or "Luxury" Galaxy Tab?

Last month Samsung said it had sold more than 600,000 units of its Galaxy Tab around the world (except in New Zealand) in just one month.

We're still waiting on Samsung and/or Vodafone to officially announce a Galaxy Tab release date for New Zealand.

We wouldn't hold our breath for the Luxury Edition being released here.
