FYI, this story is more than a year old

Big Ant Studios has announced today that it is due to release a fully licensed Ashes Cricket game later this year for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The game is simply called 'Ashes Cricket' and has been made in close collaboration with Cricket Australia. It promises to deliver the most realistic and most authentic portrayal of the sport to date.

The game uses the latest technology to capture the likenesses of both the men's and women's Australian and English cricket teams. Not only do the players look real, but licensed stadiums have also been rendered accurately.

“There is no competition in cricket that has the heritage and prestige of the Ashes competition” Big Ant CEO, Ross Symons, said. “We've worked hard to build on our existing experience with cricket to deliver a truly realistic game of cricket to our fans.

A short trailer has been released for you to see what the graphics look like in Ashes Cricket . There will be a deep career mode, online play, and several customisation options for you too.

No exact release date has been announced yet, but the game will be out this November for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
