FYI, this story is more than a year old

PikPok, a New Zealand based iPhone app developer, has launched its latest game, Bird Strike, on the Apple App Store.

In Bird Strike, players must launch Gerald the Bird into the air in a bid to get him as high up as possible by collecting rocket-boost power-ups and avoiding obstacles.

“Once people pick up Bird Strike, they’ll see how addictive it is to launch Gerald the Bird into the air at rocket speeds,” said Jos Ruffell, manager of the PikPok label. “We put in a lot of time and effort to make a high quality game that perfectly fits the platform and we know players will agree it raises the bar.”

Bird Strike is available now on the App Store for $2.99. Visit the official Web site here.
