Yesterday TVNZ announced an update to its Ondemand service on PC, so that it could cater for anything up to 1500kbps streaming.
Following the update, the service now supports a 1500kbps stream, along with 700kbps and 300kbps options.
But what about PS3 owners who use the XMB app to access TVNZ Ondemand?
At the moment there'll be no change to the quality of the service for those using PS3 as the update doesn't apply to the console. But it's coming.
When contacted, TVNZ told Game Console, "We'll be making this option available on the PS3 soon. It's a bit more tricky to implement so at the moment it's just on the website.
Sony and TVNZ launched TVNZ Ondemand in New Zealand for PS3 on April 20th.
