LogMeIn's newest version for Mac allows users to access their Macs on-the-go with an Internet connection or an iPhone.

LogMeIn Pro2 includes secure file transfer and folder synchronisation, printing from a remote Mac to a local computer over the Web, and on-demand desktop sharing with a remote user.

The company introduced LogMeIn Free for Mac in 2007, which is still available today. The pro version includes extended features from the free version, but LogMeIn Free for Mac also received updates. The free service includes improved navigation, faster performance and expanded browser support, including 64-bit Safari.

“LogMeIn Pro2 for Mac gives Macs the freedom to be accessed from just about anywhere, eliminating the worry for Mac users about whether they left something behind,” said Andrew Burton, Vice President for LogMeIn. “With the choice of LogMeIn Free for Mac or LogMeIN Pro2 for Mac, remote ‘Maccess’ is available for any budget.”

LogMeIn Pro2 for Mac is available immediately, with pricing starting at approximately $US114 per year. Users can also try out the pro version with a free 30-day trial here.
