Microsoft has said that this Tuesday's (October 12th) Patch Tuesday update will plug a massive 49 security vulnerabilities.

The 49 vulnerabilities mean that this update will be the biggest yet, with the previous record being held by August's update that included 34 fixes.

Tomorrow's update will include fixes for flaws in the Windows operating system, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office and the .NET Framework.
