The series features state-of-the-art chassis designs and cooling solutions tailored for various gaming needs. The standout models include the ROG Strix Scar 16/18 and ROG Zephyrus G14/G16, promising high performance and portability.

Bradley Howe, Head of Consumer, Systems Business Group, ASUS Australia, said, "We're excited to launch the latest ROG gaming lineup in Australia and New Zealand, bringing unmatched performance and bold new designs. With the growing demand for powerful gaming laptops, we've introduced this lineup to cater to everyone—from gamers on the go and working professionals to our dedicated ROG community. This new lineup is built to power every gaming experience like never before."

The ROG Strix series, known for its peak performance and distinctive design, boasts full-surround RGB lighting, easy-upgrade panels, and enhanced cooling technologies. The Strix models can carry up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, providing robust graphics capabilities for demanding games and creative applications.

ASUS's Zephyrus series, featuring the G14 and G16 models, combines ultra-slim design with powerful specifications. They come equipped with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 or an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. Key features include their enhanced cooling system and premium OLED displays, aiming to deliver an optimal balance of performance and portability.

The ROG Flow Z13, a 2-in-1 device now available in Australia, supports versatility with its convertible design and powerful components. It features an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and RDNA 3.5 graphics designed to maximise processing speed and efficiency. The device is complemented by a touchscreen ROG Nebula Display, which provides users with vibrant visuals and stylus support.

The 2025 XG Mobile external GPU has also been launched. It boasts Thunderbolt 5 support, guaranteeing compatibility with the latest technology. Available with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, it seeks to offer portable, desktop-class performance.

Statistics from the Australia Plays 2023 report indicate the need for high-performance gaming laptops. The report notes that 59% of Australian households have PCs used for gaming. This trend supports the launch of ASUS's latest laptop offerings, as noted by the report's reference to the high proportion of people gaming regularly.

The new ROG gaming lineup aims to cater to a diverse audience, from competitive gamers to creative professionals seeking robust computing solutions. The devices will be available for purchase through a variety of retailers in both Australia and New Zealand, with the ROG Flow Z13 already on shelves.
