Gamespot Australia has reported that Darkspore, initially intended for release on March 29th, has been pushed back to April 28th in Europe and Asia Pacific.
The game's closed-beta stage has recently concluded, and it seems that developer EA Maxis has decided to take a little extra time to incorporate suggestions made by the participants. "We're really close, but in order to make the best game possible, the team has decided to take additional time to incorporate more of your feedback," said an EA representative on Darkspore's official forum.
According to Gamespot, an open beta is now planned for April.
