Dreame announced as official hair tool partner for NZFW 2025

Fri, 29th Aug 2025

Dreame Technology has been confirmed as the Official Hair Tool partner for New Zealand Fashion Week 2025.

Dreame's role as the backstage styling partner at NZFW 2025 will involve providing its smart haircare tools and hosting live styling demonstrations, highlighting the intersection of technology and high-fashion throughout the event.

The collaboration highlights Dreame's latest product range, including the Miracle Hair Dryer, which features a 130,000 rpm high-speed motor and a patented essential oil nozzle designed to repair damage, minimise frizz, and leave hair smooth and shiny. The Airstyle Pro, another featured tool, is a multifunctional 7-in-1 styling kit aimed at offering versatility while reducing heat damage during styling sessions.

Collaboration and philosophy

James Anthony Moore, Country Manager for Dreame New Zealand, outlined the vision behind the partnership.

"Dreame's selection as the Official Hair Tool of NZFW reflects our shared vision of empowering self-expression through innovative technology. Our 'Empower Your Dream Life' philosophy drives us to develop intelligent solutions that combine performance with beauty essentials for modern lifestyles."

Dreame's announcement comes against the backdrop of New Zealand's humid climate, which can present haircare challenges such as humidity-induced frizz and the effects of strong UV exposure. According to the company, Dreame's hair tools have integrated frizz-control and damage repair, tailored to address these specific environmental factors.

The Miracle Hair Dryer is noted for its high-speed motor, which enables rapid drying in a matter of minutes. Its essential oil nozzle is unique in that it applies oil during the drying process, purportedly helping to repair hair, maintain hair health, and add a fragrance.

Product features

The Dreame Airstyle Pro aims to provide salon-quality results as a 7-in-1 styling solution. According to Dreame, the Pro kit's design allows users to achieve multiple styles - from curls to smooth blowouts - in a single device. The product features high-speed airflow to deliver shaped styles while aiming to minimise heat-related hair damage.

Key features of the Airstyle Pro include the option to customise attachments for curling, smoothing, or volumising; a high-speed jet airflow function for rapid curling; a vegan leather-coated finish; and a design focused on user interactivity and ease of use.

The partnership between Dreame and New Zealand Fashion Week encompasses a series of live demonstrations during the runway events, where stylists will use both the Miracle Hair Dryer and Airstyle Pro to create looks in real time.

NZFW's perspective

Liam Taylor, Director of New Zealand Fashion Week, commented on the collaboration's relevance to the event's creative direction.

"Dreame's technological leadership perfectly complements our commitment to showcasing transformative beauty innovation. Their tools will elevate our designers' creative visions while demonstrating how smart technology enhances everyday glamour."

New Zealand Fashion Week 2025 is set to take place at Shed 10 on Auckland's Waterfront in the final week of August. Throughout the event, attendees and designers will see Dreame products demonstrated backstage and on the runway.

According to Dreame, the partnership represents a strategic effort to demonstrate how its haircare technology can be applied in high-pressure, creative environments such as Fashion Week, while also addressing everyday haircare needs in climates like New Zealand's.
