GamePro has reported that, in its quarterly earnings report, Electronic Arts has confirmed the cancellation of NBA Elite 11.
The publisher does intend to eventually re-instate the NBA Elite brand, although the development has shifted from EA Canada to EA Tiburon. This effectively means that the publisher has gone back to the drawing board with its intended reboot of the NBA Live franchise.
Also announced in the earnings report was that Electronic Arts has recorded a loss of US$134 million over the last quarter, citing a slow release schedule despite the fact that Medal of Honor sold 2 million copies in its first two weeks.
