JBL unveils Live TWS 3 series with smart charging case

JBL has launched its latest True Wireless offering, the JBL Live TWS 3 series. This new edition includes three models: Live Flex TWS 3, Live Beam TWS 3, and Live Buds TWS 3. Each features JBL's new Smart Charging Case with a 1.45-inch LED touch display.

The Smart Charging Case provides users with the ability to manage various features and functions directly from the case without needing to access their device. This includes volume and EQ adjustments, music control, phone call handling, and even seeing messages. The touch display also allows for personalisation, such as customising the screensaver to show favourite photos.

Michael Sherman, Senior Strategy Manager at JBL New Zealand, commented on the company's continuous drive for innovation. The Live 3 TWS series is no exception," he said.

In addition to the new Smart Charging Case, the Live TWS 3 series also incorporates enhanced wireless audio technology. This includes Hi-Res audio, True Adaptive Noise Cancelling (NC), and JBL Spatial Sound, which creates an immersive listening experience by making the sound appear to come from multiple directions.

The adaptive noise-cancelling feature uses four noise-sensing microphones that adjust to surrounding conditions in real time. The JBL Headphones app further refines this experience by tailoring the noise cancellation levels to individual ear canal conditions.

The sound quality improvements in the JBL Live 3 TWS series are bolstered by JBL Signature Sound technology, promising deep bass, balanced mid-range, and refined high frequencies. Each model is designed for different wearing preferences: Buds, Beam, and Flex, ensuring users can choose the best fit for their needs.

Key specifications for the JBL Live Flex TWS 3 include a retail price of NZD $299.95, Hi-Res Audio Wireless, Smart Charging Case, True Adaptive NC, 50 hours of total playback with wireless charging, six microphones, multi-point connection, Google Finder and Audio Switch, IP54 waterproof rating, and Personi-Fi 3.0.

The JBL Live Beam TWS 3 is priced at NZD $279.95 and offers similar features but with a slightly lower total playback time of 48 hours and an IP55 waterproof and dustproof rating.

The JBL Live Buds TWS 3 costs NZD $269.95. It features 40 hours of total playback and shares the IP55 waterproof and dustproof rating with the other core functionalities present in the Beam and Flex models.

These models will be available in Black and Silver from 1st August at various retailers, including Noel Leeming, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, PB Tech, Smiths City, Mighty Ape, Heathcotes and selected 100% stores.
