Konami names date for Metal Gear Solid pack

Game publishers Konami have announced their Metal Gear Solid HD collection, featuring five Metal Gear titles, will be released on February 2 next year.

The pack will include Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (all in HD), as well as classics Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

The Metal Gear series is considered the first instance of stealth gameplay, where players are charged with avoiding detection rather than simply killing and maiming.
