Logitech unveils MX Creative Console with strong Adobe integration

Yesterday

Logitech has announced the launch of the MX Creative Console, marking a new product category designed for digital creators. The aim of this device is to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks, allowing users to focus on their creative processes with greater ease.

"Digital creativity is undergoing a massive transformation, constantly evolving the way people create. The MX Creative Console is designed to help people redefine their workflow, enabling them to work smarter and faster," stated Anatoliy Polyanker, general manager of the MX Business Unit at Logitech. According to Polyanker, the MX Creative Console is part of the latest additions to the Logitech MX Ecosystem, which also includes the newly announced MX Ink. These new entries, he noted, tap into key trends such as democratising digital creation, 3D design, spatial computing, and AI-enabled workflows.

The MX Creative Console enhances user experience through a collaboration with Adobe, integrating tailored plugins for widely-used Adobe applications. These include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Illustrator. The device also supports AI capabilities like Adobe Photoshop's Generative Fill and Adobe Premiere Pro's Text-Based Editing. Each MX Creative Console purchase comes with a complimentary three-month Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps membership, offering significant value to both new and existing users.

The versatility of the MX Creative Console is evident in its design, featuring a keypad with dynamic display keys that allow users to access and trigger important actions. Additionally, it boasts a customisable dialpad that functions as an analog navigation controller. The free Logi Options+ software further enhances the device's functionality, providing seamless app integration across Windows and Mac operating systems. Through the Logi Marketplace, users can access customisable controls, plugins, profiles, and icons, with the software set to expand its capabilities through future updates.

Attention to sustainability is also a key feature of the MX Creative Console. The product is constructed using 72% post-consumer recycled plastic for the Graphite model and aluminium produced with renewable energy. The packaging comprises FSC-certified paper, and the device includes micro-textures instead of paint. These measures aim to minimize the product's carbon footprint and promote circularity.

The MX Creative Console will be available in both pale grey and graphite. Pre-orders are currently open, with shipping set to commence on October 14th, 2024, through Logitech's website and selected retailers. The Logi Options+ app is available for free download.
