Middle-earth: Shadow of War release date revealed by Warner Bros.

After a big leak earlier this week, Warner Bros. has officially announced the release date for Middle-earth: Shadow of War. 

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is the sequel to the award-winning Shadow of Mordor that came out back in 2014. The sequel will be released on August 23rd, 2017 in Australia and New Zealand. The release date is August 22nd and August 25th in North America and Europe respectively. 

Middle-earth: Shadow of War will feature an open world environment and the innovative Nemesis system is back better than ever before. There will be smarter orcs for you to kill and more.

The game is set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and features an original story full of new characters and enemy types. It will still however feature familiar locations from Middle-earth. 

The game will be available for PC, PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox Scorpio. You can check out the first trailer for the game below
