Nintendo has announced that its upcoming DSi XL handheld console, due to hit shelves from April 15th, will retail for AU$299.95 (NZ$385.95 based on current conversion rates).

The DSi XL boasts the largest screens in the Nintendo DS range, and comes in two colours: burgundy and bronze. The DSi XL also comes bundled with additional software not included on other versions of the Nintendo DS such as Clubhouse Games Express Card Classics, A Little Bit of… Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training, and Photo Clock.

The DSi XL contains all of the existing features of other DS models, such as the DSi Camera, DSi Sound and DSi Shop.
