Apple co-founder headed to NZ
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is headed to New Zealand for a one-night only Think Inc event.
Wozniak has an impressive resume of accomplishments in the digital world – across Atari and Hewlett-Packard, and the humanitarian sphere (founding the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) to protect digital rights of internet users worldwide), but the inventor is best known for his work alongside Steve Jobs with tech giant Apple.
"Virtually no echelon of society has been unaffected by the work of Steve Wozniak; the device on which this is being read has his virtual fingerprints all over it, accomplished with Woz's work ethic of pleasure over profit," Think Inc says in a statement.
"This is a philosophy he has applied to each of his endeavours, and encourages all aspiring inventors to follow suit," it says.
The event will take place on Tuesday 23rd August, ASB Theatre in Auckland.
"The world needs inventors – great ones. You can be one. If you love what you do and are willing to do what it really takes, it's within your reach.
General sales for the event from Tuesday April 5 from Ticketmaster.
