Stuff Fibre promises to double internet speed for its users

Fri, 1st Jun 2018
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Fibre broadband provider Stuff Fibre has welcomed the announcement that Enable, fibre network provider for Christchurch, will increase the base connection speed available for residents from 100 to 200 Mbps, in celebration of completing its entire area roll out.

That means from the first of July, Christchurch locals will boast access to broadband faster than the number one ranked country in the world, Singapore, and supposedly for no extra cost if their internet provider passes on the benefit like Stuff Fibre plans to.

Stuff Fibre CEO Sam Morse says, "All new Stuff Fibre customers in the Enable coverage area will be offered a 200 Mbps fibre connection as our entry-level plan, with the option to upgrade to even faster Gigabit speeds.

"This is an exciting announcement for the people of Christchurch and especially our existing Stuff Fibre customers who won't have to do a thing and will be automatically upgraded to the faster speeds over the next few months.

"Kudos to Enable for serving its local community by delivering a better and faster service and allowing retail service providers to pass it on to customers for the same monthly price. And just in time for winter when older copper lines are prone to more technical glitches and faults.

Fibre is one of the best and most reliable broadband experiences available right now.

Stuff Fibre's offering is simple: Unlimited fibre broadband plans that give customers complete control over what they get and when they get it. It's the internet the way it should be.

Supposedly committed to connecting every Kiwi home to New Zealand's fastest internet experience, Stuff Fibre is based in NZ with local support.

Stuff Fibre was named best Fibre Broadband Provider at the 2017 Broadband Compare Awards.
