Check out Google’s Jellybean sculpture
Wed, 27th Jun 2012
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Google’s I/O developer’s conference is just one day away, and the company has signalled its intention to unveil its new Android operating system, codenamed Jellybean, with the addition of a new sculpture on its famous Android lawn.

The sculpture, a transparent case filled with multi-coloured jellybeans, also forms the body of an Android figure, and sits alongside other sculptures for previous operating systems including Donut and Honeycomb.

Each operating system release has been named alphabetically after a particular dessert or sweet; the full list reads Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Frozen Yoghurt, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jellybean.

The obvious question is, what will be next? The frontrunner on online forums is Key Lime Pie, and we sure can’t think of any others - if you can, post them below!
