Microsoft Windows users can expect another raft of important security updates this week.
The updates affect users of Windows 2000 Service Pack 4, XP Service Packs 2 and 3, Server 2003 Service Pack 2, Vista Service Packs 1 and 2, Vista x64 Service Packs 1 and 2, Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Server 2008 x64 and Server 2008 x64 Service Pack 2. Four patches will be issued for these systems and another two for Microsoft Office.
When you start your computer on Wednesday, you will probably receive a notification that updates need to be installed which will require you to restart your computer.
The updates are listed variously as "important" or "critical".
