Track your staff with new iPhone app

Navman Wireless has released an iPhone app for its OnlineAVL2 vehicle location software application.

Available at no extra cost for Navman iPhone users, it gives access to up-to-date information about your fleet from their iPhones.

The app allows you to:

• Check the real time location of single vehicles or the entire fleet
• Send and receiving messages to and from vehicles
• Route vehicles to destination
• Replay recent movements of vehicles

“The launch of the Navman Wireless iPhone Application marks an important milestone in making rich vehicle tracking applications available on a smartphone platform,” said Paresh Nagda, Navman Wireless CTO. “It’s the first of a new generation of applications on our product roadmap. These will give managers-on-the-move the information they need to make decisions about resources and the tools for communicating with people in the field, all available at their fingertips, wherever they happen to be.”

The application was developed at the request from Navman Wireless Australasian customers, said the company.
